Training-reference vist "Lean Concept – Harmony of Your Manufacture"

Vienna, situated in the most picturesque place of the middle course of Danube and surrrounded by wondeful spurs of the Vienna Woods, is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and a “European capital of music”. Blending of various cultures throughout centuries has created unique architecture that has, unfortunately, suffered a lot during the World War II, however, has almost completely been rehabilitated by the dilligent and assiduous Viennese people. The symbol of the city is St. Stephen's Cathedral (Stephansdom), which is more than 800 years old. There are ancient catacombs under the cathedral, where the dynasts of Habsburgs are buried.
The cathedral’s decoration is stunningly beautiful, and its steeple was casted in 1711 from cannons captured from the Muslim invaders. The beautiful Stephansplatz square with a postmodernist style building Haas-Haus is facing the cathedral. On the walls of Stephansdom you can find measures of length and weight, used in the middle ages to examine goods when buying it, and its observation deck overlooks the splendid view of Danube and the city of Vienna… You can see these places of interest along with other sights of Vienna with your own eyes if you come to the capital of Austria during the next reference visit in the network of the „Engineering Club“ program, organized in partnership with MESA International and Institute of Innovation Technologies in Business (IITB).
